Corsham Windband Association

Here's how you can support our activities

Corsham Windband Asssociation is a charity and relies entirely on donations to carry out its work:

  • Promoting and fostering the enjoyment of playing music with friends;
  • Promoting musical proficiency and excellence;
  • Encouraging social awareness and responsibility within the Association and local community.

This page presents the different ways you can contribute and/ or donate to the association to help fulfil its goals.

Sponsor a child

Do you remember learning to play a musical instrument, perform in front of a large audience and make friends that last a lifetime?

CWA is seeking sponsors for children on Free School Meals (means tested by schools) to enable them to have such experiences.

  • £10 a month would pay for membership and instrument hire for one child.
  • £20 a month would pay for membership and instrument hire for two children.
  • £30 a month would pay for membership and instrument hire and lessons for one child.

You would be invited to see the progress of these children in the band as they perform at CWA events (we would not identify them). You may also be able to get tax relief as CWA is a registered charity.
